The war is over.

Decades of strife and ruin brought to a close through the use of Unborn—super soldiers created with more strength and stamina than the average man could fathom.

For Jamie, the end of the war meant the loss of her family. Her sisters had been together from their earliest days, but the military decided they belonged on opposite coasts– with a nuclear wasteland between them.
